I would like to welcome everyone to the new MassiveNerd.net

After almost a year and a half blogging, I’ve finally grown up and moved into a place of my own. Look at me go, I have an actual About page now, even a freaking contact form.

Lots of interesting things will be happening here over the coming months. You’ll get my usual content of fiction, guides, reviews and analysis. I’m going to try to get some smaller posts up in between. Interesting videos, perhaps even quick thoughts on some news stories, which is a change for me. If I’m going to do this, I might as well try to do it right!

Yes, that attempt at a logo at the top of the page is all me. Graphic design is one aspect of blogging that I will continue to work on.

A couple quick notes:

1: If you’re seeing this in your feed reader, you’re all good. I have transferred the FeedBurner feed from BlogSpot to here.
2: Yes, I’m considering some form of advertisement on here. It’s not a cash grab. While hosting costs are within acceptable limits for a “hobby,” I do have big plans for the future of the blog, and it’s going to require an investment if I want to do it right. Nothing definite, I just want to give a heads up in case anybody thinks I’m selling out.

All business aside, I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished here. Now I just have to live up to the expectations I’ve set for myself.

The ride is just beginning.
