I’m Samodean, long time nerd, Founder and President of the Nerd Nation.

I could list all my qualifications, but it’s irrelevant. I partake in just about every aspect of “Nerd Life.” Video games, books, comics, anime, movies, TV, it’s all there.

If that’s the Nerd, what about the Massive? I started my adventure in MMOs with Final Fantasy XI, but truly became involved with World of Warcraft. I have spent time in several other worlds in the past, and will continue to in the future.

I started blogging in October of 2008 with my WoW blog, Hardcore Casual. Hardcore Casual was all about making the most of WoW with limited playtime. Feeling the need to branch out, I founded the first Massive Nerd in July 2009.

An Open Letter to Blizzard: I started to realize that I was growing disillusioned with WoW, so I wrote a letter. Cataclysm seems to have solved many of the problems I had. Coincidence?
We Are Who We Think We Are: Thoughts on online interactions versus real life. I’m still amazed at the quality of the post. I must have been possessed.
